My Head of Hair Has Become a Bed of Hair
Sleeping is becoming a hairy situation for me. I shed constantly. I sleep on a bed of hair. Every night, I lose a lot of hairs. Dozens of them. Maybe hundreds, I don't know. True, it does add to the feather-bed feel of the Sleepmaster, but man, it's itchy.
As you can see, I've lost a bunch on the top and the sides. Check Will out, taking the picture in the background on the far right.

It's getting pretty spotty. It's constantly falling down my neck, so my neck is raw from all the scratching. I told my bosses I'm going to shave my head. Probably next week. They said they were cool with it.
I contacted Mariner Legend Jay Buhner about giving me some advice on how to rock the bald head. Very few can rock it like Bone.
Haven't heard back from him yet.

Shave the head!! First its quite liberating. Best of all you will absolutely love being maintenance free of hair goo, style etc....I already got the jump on before waking to the clumps. I would do it before next week!!

Well Bill,
I have to say you will still be cool as a bald guy. I would shave my head to show support, But my hair like yours, Is perfect. And if I did that the companies who make my hair GOO would go broke.

Bill, Great Job on the air this week - always love you in the morning - great way to start the day - Lily, Bill, MJ and Adam!!!! I am so proud of you accomplishing your goal in the Marathon. Great to see you with SONOFYODA this week. Thanks for tweeting your progress and this blog, very interesting to see the packages on your journey on Q-13 too! Go for it, and yes Buhner does rock the look! I am sure you will to, and anyway, you are probably learning how ridiculous vanity can be in comparison to a fight against cancer. My schedule changed awhile back, and I was no longer watching Q13 in the mornings. I did happen to catch it one morning awhile back and since you weren't there, I assumed you had moved to another time-slot. Then, the other night at friends house I was happy to hear your voice on the TV, but was stunned to hear what you've been going through! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I vividly remember my Dad's cancer treatments, and appreciate what you are going through.
FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, and remember, not everyone can pull-off the bald look, but you carry it well!
